Corporate and Publisher Membership Benefits

Corporate and Publisher Affiliate Membership in the Society is open to corporations and other entities who wish to encourage and support the work of the Society.

Unlike the Society's individual memberships which run on the calendar year, Corporate Members are billed for memberships effective 1 July to 30 June of the following year.

Sustaining Corporate Membership

Open to any organization that seeks to provide additional support to the Society accompanied with additional benefits of membership. Dues are $8,951 for the period 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023.

  • Two free meeting registrations per AAS bi-annual meeting (241st AAS Meeting and 242nd AAS Meeting)
  • 25% discount off already reduced Corporate booth rates per bi-annual meeting (241st AAS Meeting and 242nd AAS Meeting)
  • Four individual AAS memberships
  • Unlimited posting to the Job Register
  • Four subscriptions to Physics Today
  • Company spotlight in an issue of the AAS News Digest

Corporate Membership

Open to any organization whose budget exceeds $1M and whose products and services are related to astronomy or any closely related science. Dues are $3,103 for the period 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023.

  • Corporate Member rates for an exhibit booth at the AAS bi-annual meetings and 25% discount on additional booths
  • One free meeting registration per AAS bi-annual meeting (241st AAS Meeting and 242nd AAS Meeting)
  • Two individual AAS memberships

Publisher Affiliate Membership

Open to any organization whose budget exceeds $1M whose primary business objective is the publication of materials related to astronomy or any closely related science. Dues are $1,430 for the period 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023.

Small Publisher/Corporate Membership

Open to any organization with a budget up to $1M and five or fewer employees whose primary business objective is either (1) the publication of materials related to astronomy or any closely related science; or (2) providing products and services related to astronomy or any closely related science. Dues are $812 for the period 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023.
