Job Description

The department of physics at the University of Central Florida is looking for a Visiting Lecturer for the 2024-2025 academic year, starting August 8, 2024. The teaching assignment is three courses per semester. The department offers an astronomy minor and an astronomy specialization for its physics majors. The successful candidate will teach Galaxies and Cosmology at the 3000 level, Stellar Astrophysics at the 3000 level, introductory astronomy, and introductory physics courses. This is a non-renewable one-year Visiting Lecturer position.
